A Message from the Principal
Dear Monroe Intermediate School Families and Community,
Welcome to Monroe Intermediate School, home of the Bulldogs!
It is an honor and privilege to serve as principal of Monroe Intermediate School. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead a school community filled with potential, promise, and opportunities for growth. I firmly believe that every child can learn, every educator can grow, and every day provides an opportunity to make a positive difference.
My vision for Monroe Intermediate School is to cultivate a culture of excellence where high-quality instruction drives student achievement, meaningful relationships strengthen our school community, and high expectations guide our daily work. I want our students to feel safe, valued, supported, and challenged to become the very best versions of themselves.
I recognize that meaningful school improvement begins with a shift in mindset. We cannot expect different results if we continue to think and work the same way. As we continue establishing The Monroe Intermediate Way, my goal is to encourage reflection, strengthen collaboration, promote shared accountability, and inspire a willingness to grow. Building a strong school culture takes time, consistency, and a collective commitment to doing what is best for children.
I believe that education is a partnership between the school, families, and community. Each of us has an important role in supporting student success. Although Monroe Intermediate School is small in size, our commitment to providing meaningful learning experiences and opportunities for our students must remain strong.
As your principal, I am committed to leading with compassion, fairness, integrity, and purpose. I will continue working alongside our faculty, staff, families, and community partners to strengthen teaching and learning, celebrate progress, address challenges, and create an environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
My hope is that every child who enters Monroe Intermediate School leaves not only academically stronger but also more confident, responsible, respectful, and prepared for the next chapter of life.
I invite you to join us on this journey. Your involvement, encouragement, and partnership are essential as we continue building the school our children deserve.
Our students deserve our very best, every single day. Together, we can make a lasting difference!
One Team. One Goal. Together Making a Positive Difference.
With Bulldog Pride and Appreciation,
Principal Ramona Lewis-Dailey
